"Exceptional experiences create meaningful moments — and meaningful moments create lasting value."

Our mission is to provide intentional event management for weddings and corporate events, executed with love, excellence, care, and purpose. We believe marriage is more than a celebration; it is a sacred covenant before God that reflects love, commitment, and purpose. In the same way, corporate and business events represent vision, growth, and meaningful milestones, bringing people together for a greater purpose. We want our clients to be seen, cared for, and supported.

With a deep understanding that these moments carry lasting significance, we are committed to overseeing every detail with attentiveness and responsibility. We ensure that what has been planned behind the scenes is not only executed well but fully experienced, felt, and remembered. Exceptional experiences create meaningful moments, and meaningful moments create lasting value.

At Meraki Occasions, we not only provide expert coordination for our own weddings and corporate events, but we also collaborate with fellow event planners and coordinators by offering professional event management and logistical support. Whether we are leading the event or supporting another planning team, our focus remains the same: executing every detail with professionalism, precision, and care.

Sharlyn Harlequin, Assistant Coordinator at Meraki Occasions

Sharlyn Harlequin

Assistant Coordinator

Hello, I am Sharlyn Harlequin, Assistant Coordinator.

I love to create, and I firmly believe that everything is "figureoutable."

One of my favorite things is the challenge of finding solutions when something isn't working as planned. Every event is unique and comes with its own set of unexpected twists and challenges, but that's part of what makes this work so rewarding. Our goal is always to help create a seamless experience so that, at the end of the day, you can simply enjoy a great event.

For more than a decade, I have had the privilege of working alongside my best friend, helping bring weddings, celebrations, and special events to life. Together, we've combined creativity, organization, and attention to detail to ensure each event reflects the vision of the people we're serving. What began as a shared passion has grown into years of creating memorable experiences, building lasting relationships, and helping clients celebrate some of life's most important moments.

We look forward to partnering with you to bring your vision to life and helping make your event a memorable and successful experience from beginning to end.

Kind Words

What our clients say

"I had the privilege of working with Myrtis to produce my event 'Stage Power Intensive', and I found her to be invaluable day of. I woke up at 7:30 and I only had to think about myself. She was able to galvanize the volunteers, think through any questions or potential conflicts that may arise. She also helped me to think through where volunteers may have been needed, their placements, the type of decor that we could put in the room.

When we first met I gave her the vision of my event; she must have taken very good notes because she always referenced that when we were talking. 'I remember you saying you wanted this. I remember you saying you wanted to add that.' And those were things I didn't even remember. That's how ideas get executed when you have that kind of accountability. So if you are a thought leader, or you lead an organization and you are looking for an event planner, I highly recommend Myrtis."

Linnita HostenFounder, Vocal Value

"Myrtis came in as the day-of coordinator for our wedding, and she did a phenomenal job, exceeding all expectations. She literally handled everything.

As the bride, I couldn't quite coordinate things day-of because I had a different role; yet I knew she had what it took to get it done. She took a HUGE weight off my shoulders; I literally didn't worry about or even think about any logistics. I had that much confidence and peace.

With her at the helm, I knew that her expertise, professionalism, initiative, creativity, and efficiency was the perfect recipe to ensure my vision flowed and that the people had a great experience at my wedding.

She asked all the right questions and took all the right liberties. She protected and promoted what I desired while staying true to her expertise and her heart for helping people with their events.

She has a gift and a passion for turning your vision into reality, so you don't have to worry about anything. She has inspiring creativity. She knows how to take the load off your plate and have things running smoothly — she makes things easier.

Everything that I was looking for and needed on that day, Myrtis exceeded hands down! I'll always be grateful to her for stepping into that role and helping my vision come to life. I know who I'm calling for future needs as well. Your vision is in excellent hands with Myrtis and Meraki Occasions."

Keshia KaneBride

"I've had the pleasure of working alongside Myrtis for over 10 years, and I can confidently say she is a true professional in every sense of the word. We've teamed up on several events over the years, and she is always a delight to collaborate with.

What sets Myrtis apart is her meticulous attention to detail and her clean, elevated event style. She doesn't just design events — she executes them with precision and intention. She's personable, professional, creative, and incredibly knowledgeable in her craft.

Most importantly, she's someone that can be trusted with the vision. I've trusted her with visions and watched her bring them to fruition beautifully. That level of consistency and reliability over time speaks volumes.

Working with her is a no-brainer."
