Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Meraki Occasions is committed to making merakioccasions.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Just as we care for every guest at an event, we want every visitor to be able to learn about our services and reach our team with ease.
Our Standard
We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people who are blind or have low vision, who are deaf or hard of hearing, who have limited movement, or who have cognitive or learning disabilities.
What We Have Done
- Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image
- Text and background colors chosen to meet WCAG contrast requirements
- Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to main content" link
- Clearly labeled form fields, with required fields identified
- Photo galleries that never move on their own and can be browsed with labeled previous/next buttons by mouse, touch, or keyboard
- Reduced animation for visitors who have reduced motion turned on in their device settings
- Headings and page landmarks that support screen readers
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is ongoing work. We review the site as we add new content, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve. Some links lead to third-party websites, such as social media and Google reviews, which are outside our control.
